The UGC-National Eligibility Test (NET) is a national-level test conducted by the National Testing Agency (NTA) to determine eligibility for junior research fellowship (JRF) and eligibility for assistant professor positions in Indian universities and colleges. This exam has been conducted in Computer Based Test (CBT) mode since December 2018, and is held twice every year in June and December.

The application correction window for the UGC-NET 2025, which is scheduled to be held in June, will conclude tomorrow. Therefore, applicants who wish to make any changes to their application forms can do so by February 15, 2025.

The UGC-NET is an objective-type test with multiple-choice questions, and is conducted in different subjects spread across three sessions. The exam is conducted in a total of 81 subjects, and the candidate must select a subject of their choice while filling out the application form.

Candidates interested in applying for the exam can do so by visiting the official NTA website, and all corrections to application data can be made online only, through the NTA website.
