The junior lawyer sustained severe head injuries and was rushed to hospital, where he fell into a coma due to the severity of the assault.

Sadly, Shuaib passed away five days later, on Monday, leaving behind a grieving family and shocked colleagues. Pulican was taken into police custody and has been booked on charges of assault.

While allegations of this nature are rare, this tragic incident sheds light on the inherent power dynamics and potential abuse that can occur within hierarchical structures, even in professions like law.

In a statement, Supreme Court Advocate KN Yatesh, who is familiar with the case, stated, "Such incidents are shocking reminders that we need to treat everyone, irrespective of the hierarchy or age, with dignity and respect.

There are appropriate avenues to address professional disagreements, and it's crucial to avoid resorting to such brutal and unacceptable behavior."

As Shuaib's family and colleagues mourn his untimely passing, they hope that this tragic incident will lead to greater awareness and positive change in the legal industry and beyond.
