With progeny on the way, Dominik Mysterio is embracing his "ladies man" moniker, despite his father, the legendary Rey Mysterio, being a legendary lothario.

The 27-year-old WWE superstar spoke to FOX Sports about his newfound storyline and indicated that while his maternal genes may be less flamboyant than his father's, he is still enjoying his newfound romance with the WWE universe.

"I kind of have to embrace that storyline," Dominik told FOX Sports Spring Sports Preview. "I have a lot of single moms out there approaching me saying, 'Oh, my son wants to talk to you,' and stuff like that. It's hilarious, I love it. That's the great thing about WWE, you never know where your next storyline is going to come from."

Dominik also discussed his impending fatherhood, announcing during the June 9 episode of Friday Night SmackDown that his wife is expecting a baby girl.

"I'm very excited," he said. "It's something that I've always wanted ever since I was a kid, to have my own family, my own kids, and everything. Now that it's happening so fast, it's crazy, I'm excited."

And his dad Rey, who recently celebrated 20 years as a WWE superstar, is looking forward to becoming a grandfather.

"It's a whole new chapter in my life," Dominik continued. "My dad, being at this point of his career, he's almost 40 years in this industry, he's always talked about how his biggest accomplishment isn't any of the titles he's held or the matches he's had, it's his family, my brother and I, and now it's going to be his grandchildren."

With his newfound zest for life, Dominik Mysterio is poised to take the WWE universe by storm.
