The Mubadala Research Unit in Artificial Intelligence (MRAI), a subsidiary of Mubadala Investment Company, has released a new Arabic-language AI model, the Falcon AI. Designed to be a leading tool in language and speech recognition, Falcon AI prioritises technological innovation in the Middle East's competitive tech market.

The Falcon AI model is a language model that employs advanced artificial intelligence and machine learning techniques to intelligently predict and generate Arabic language text. It provides a more accurate and efficient way to interpret and utilise Arabic-language data, particularly in academic and scientific contexts. The model aims to support the UAE's growing emphasis on technology and innovation while improving language accessibility 30% better than competitors, emphasizing the country's commitment to advancing language and speech recognition in the Arabic language.

"This is a testament to the ongoing efforts of the UAE to prioritize technology, innovation, and artificial intelligence," said Omar Bin Sultan Al Olama, Minister of State for Artificial Intelligence. He further added, "We are confident that the release of the Falcon AI will promote the advancement of the Arabic language and provide opportunities for researchers and developers to directly work with and improve the Arabic language model."
