Ice cream delight: Hocco's ambitious production plans to meet demand

Ahmedabad-based ice cream producer Hocco is planning to double its production by early 2025 to meet the increasing demand for its products. The company is banking on its popular range of fondant flavors and newly launched premium ice creams to drive growth.

Hocco's CEO Bhavya Vakharia is confident about the company's prospects, stating that the ice cream market in India is largely untapped. "There is a lot of potential for growth, and we aim to be a key player in the industry. We have expanded our production facility and introduced new, innovative flavors every year, which helped us achieve a steady growth rate of 15 percent annually," he said.

The company, which currently produces about 50 lakh liters of ice cream annually, plans to invest heavily in expanding its production facility and improving its distribution network. "Our immediate goal is to double our production capacity by early 2025. We are also focusing on expanding our presence in metro cities through our retail network and online delivery partners," Vakharia added.

With a growing demand for its products and ambitious production plans, Hocco is well-positioned to become one of India's leading ice cream manufacturers. It'll be interesting to see if they can capitalize on this opportunity and maintain their momentum.
