Telangana Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy captivated leading business executives at a roundtable hosted by the Consulate General of India in New York. The event, attended by over 20 CEOs from sectors like pharma, IT, EV, biotech, and shipping, was a platform to pitch Telangana as the ideal investment destination for companies seeking a "China Plus One" strategy. 

The CM highlighted Telangana’s strengths, focusing on Hyderabad's rise as a hub for software, pharma, aerospace, and defense industries. He proudly shared how the state played a pivotal role in producing COVID-19 vaccines for global distribution.

Reddy showcased ambitious future projects like the "Future City," a planned Net Zero Carbon city focused on AI, medical tourism, sports, software, and pharma. He assured potential investors of a business-friendly environment with top-notch infrastructure, talent, and government policies. The CM's vision includes a new industrial policy designed to make Telangana a global manufacturing leader.

Telangana’s IT Minister, D. Sridhar Babu, further emphasized Hyderabad’s industry-friendly policies, positioning it as a strong alternative to China for manufacturing.

Attendees included prominent figures such as Ronald L. Verkleeren from Corning, Dinesh Paliwal of KKR, Chintu Patel of Amneal Pharma, and Dr. Jonathan Hill from Pace University. The business leaders shared their global investment experiences and expressed keen interest in Telangana, with major announcements expected soon following the successful roundtable.
