Arcesium, a prominent provider of tech solutions for asset managers, has announced significant expansion plans for its Hyderabad facility after discussions with Telangana Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy and IT Minister D. Sridhar Babu. The Hyderabad office, which serves as the company’s first overseas location, is pivotal in supporting Arcesium's global operations, particularly in data management and strategy initiatives.
Founded as an independent entity backed by the DE Shaw group and Blackstone Alternative Asset Management (BAAM), Arcesium specializes in advanced data, operations, and analytics platforms utilized by financial institutions, including hedge funds, banks, and private equity firms. The firm’s expansion solidifies Hyderabad’s standing as a premier hub for global tech firms, reinforcing its reputation in the technology and innovation sectors, particularly in the banking, financial services, and insurance (BFSI) space.
As part of its growth strategy, Arcesium plans to hire 500 high-end tech professionals in Hyderabad over the next two years.
