Aurum Equity Partners has announced a phased investment of USD 400 million to build a Next-Generation AI-powered Green Data Center in Hyderabad. This decision follows a previous commitment of USD 50 million made last year. The new data center will have a capacity of 100 MW and will serve both hyperscalers and enterprises.
During the meeting, Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy expressed his enthusiasm, stating that the AI-powered, eco-friendly data center will generate numerous job opportunities in Hyderabad. Venkat Bussa, CEO and Chairman of Aurum Equity Partners, highlighted that the data center is designed to bridge the digital divide between rural and urban areas, providing vital government services such as e-Seva, e-Payment, and e-Education across the nation.
Minister D. Sridhar Babu emphasized that this development cements Hyderabad’s reputation as a rising hub for data centers, with a strong focus on AI-driven solutions and sustainability through green energy.
