CM Revanth Reddy and IT Minister Sridhar Babu Pitch Big at Dallas IT Serve Alliance Meet

At a high-profile gathering in Dallas, Telangana Chief Minister Revanth Reddy and IT Minister D. Sridhar Babu made a strong case for diaspora investments in Hyderabad and Telangana during their address at the IT Serve Alliance meet. The event, attended by prominent members of the Indian tech diaspora and the largest association of IT services companies in the USA, was a key moment in positioning Hyderabad as a global investment hub.

A Vision for a Trillion-Dollar Telangana: IT Minister Sridhar Babu’s Address

Industries, Commerce, and IT Minister Sridhar Babu elaborated on several critical projects aimed at transforming Hyderabad into a global city. He focused on the ambitious Future City project, the ongoing extension of the Metro, and the River Musi rejuvenation project. "These initiatives are all part of our long-term vision to reimagine Hyderabad over the next decade," he said.

Sridhar Babu emphasized the significance of these projects in positioning Hyderabad as a hub for future technologies, including artificial intelligence, green energy, and sustainable urban development. The Future City, with its Net Zero impact design, will stand as a model for cities globally, offering state-of-the-art infrastructure and services to attract investors and tech innovators alike.

Additionally, Sridhar Babu spoke about Telangana’s broader strategy for balanced growth. “While Hyderabad and the Future City are central to our plans, we are also working to develop Tier-II cities to drive economic growth and create opportunities across the state,” he explained. The state’s efforts to promote both the service sector and manufacturing, he noted, are part of a broader push to make Telangana an attractive investment destination.

Building a $1 Trillion Economy

Both the Chief Minister and IT Minister outlined the state’s bold vision of becoming a $1 trillion economy within the next decade. "Telangana is one of the most business-friendly states in India, and with our forward-thinking policies, world-class infrastructure, and dynamic talent pool, we are well on our way to achieving this ambitious goal,” Sridhar Babu added.

A Platform for Global Partnerships

The IT Serve Alliance, often referred to as the “voice of prestigious IT companies across the United States,” extended an invitation to CM Revanth Reddy for their annual flagship event in Las Vegas later this year, a stage graced by world leaders like Bill Clinton, George W. Bush, and tech icons such as Steve Forbes. This platform is expected to bring further attention to Telangana’s ambitious growth plans and attract global investors to the region.
