Real estate developer Godrej Properties has expanded its footprint in North India by entering the Panipat real estate market. The company has acquired a significant development opportunity in the city, which reportedly has a revenue potential of over Rs 1,250 crore.
The development, situated on NH-44, will comprise a plotted township with a wide range of plot sizes spanning across 43 acres. It is situated close to the upcoming global city of Delhi NCR, which will likely boost the development of Panipat as one of the largest manufacturing hubs in the region.
Grejo Properties' entry into Panipat is in line with its strategy of deepening its presence across India's leading cities. The company recently announced planned business expansions in Chandigarh, Lucknow, Chennai, and Pune.
"We are happy to add this new opportunity in Panipat to our portfolio and continue to develop our presence in North India. This project, located in a rapidly developing region, will provide home buyers with a new opportunity to own a Godrej property in a prime location," said Mohit Malhotra, CEO of Godrej Properties.
The development will benefit from Godrej Properties' focus on sustainability and design, offering residents a higher standard of living through eco-friendly initiatives.
Godrej Properties is currently developing residential, commercial, and mixed-use projects spread across 128 million square feet in 12 cities. The company has a significant presence in Delhi NCR, Mumbai Metropolitan Region, Bengaluru, Pune, and Ahmedabad.
