Cyber Security Conclave SHIELD-2025 to Address Growing Cybercrimes

Despite the world becoming increasingly digital, cybercrimes are on the rise. India alone lost Rs 22,812 crore to cybercriminal activities last year. To address this growing challenge, the Telangana Cyber Security Bureau (TGCSB) has taken a promising step in the right direction.

TGCSB has introduced SHIELD 2025, an annual cyber security conclave aimed at fostering stronger responses to cybercrime and enhancing cyber security measures across Telangana. This conclave, scheduled to take place from February 18 to 19, 2025, at the Hyderabad International Convention Centre (HICC), is designed to transform Telangana's cyber security ecosystem and provide advanced tools to combat cybercrime.

The event is jointly organized by TGCSB and the Society for Cyberabad Security Council (SCSC). It will bring together experts from law enforcement agencies, industry professionals, academic institutions, NGOs, financial organizations, global tech leaders, policymakers, and government representatives.

SHIELD 2025 is envisioned as a platform for collaboration, where stakeholders can come together to tackle evolving digital threats. The conclave will include keynote speeches, panel discussions, and workshops on various topics such as AI, blockchain, digital forensics, ransomware, cryptocurrency, and cyber resilience for MSMEs.

This event will also address nation-state cyber threats, industry resilience, and the safety of women and children in the digital space. Closed-door sessions will be organized for law enforcement agencies to strategize responses to emerging cyber crimes.

Interactive workshops will help stakeholders build resilience and adapt to the latest cyber threats in 2025. SHIELD 2025 is a much-needed initiative that will significantly contribute to creating a safer and more secure digital environment in Telangana and beyond.
