Electric car pioneer Tesla will soon be opening its first Indian showroom in Mumbai, with reports stating that the location will be revealed on 15 July. It is expected that the showroom will be situated in the Maker Maxity building in the commercial and retail hub of Bandra Kurla Complex (BKC) near Mumbai airport.

This announcement follows the company's registration of Tesla India as a domestic company in India back in April, 2021, an announcement that was reciprocated with excitement and anticipation from the country's business leaders and citizens alike.
