Cyberabad Traffic Police Improve Traffic Flow By Leveraging WhatsApp

Hyderabad's bustling tech hub, Cyberabad, is known for its bustling traffic, leading to frequent congestion and delays. In a bid to alleviate this issue and improve traffic flow, the Cyberabad Traffic Police have taken a modern approach with the launch of Cyberabad Traffic Pulse. This innovative platform utilizes WhatsApp and other messaging services to keep commuters informed and up-to-date with real-time traffic alerts. Police officials hope that this initiative will reduce traffic congestion and save valuable time for commuters.

Launched by Cyberabad's police commissioner Avinash Mohanty and joint commissioner Joel Davis, in collaboration with the Society for Cyberabad Security Council (SCSC), Cyberabad Traffic Pulse aims to make a difference in the city's traffic management. JCP Davis highlighted the platform's features at the launch, stating that it will provide citizens with real-time updates on traffic congestion, accidents, and route diversions through WhatsApp, SMS, or flash messages. This platform enables subscribers to communicate directly with the Cyberabad Traffic Police through WhatsApp to share suggestions and feedback.

To subscribe to this service, commuters can visit the official website, enter their name, mobile number, and mode of transport. They can then select their frequently travelled routes and consent to the terms and conditions. Commuters can receive alerts via SMS if their phone's internet is offline, and flash messages will be sent for any fire accidents or major incidents. The launch of Cyberabad Traffic Pulse signifies the police's innovative approach to solving traffic congestion in the city while fostering meaningful communication with the community.
