The Telangana government has increased security in light of intelligence warnings of more serious terrorist attacks following the horrific Kashmir attack. With the Bharat Summit and Miss World 2025 scheduled to be held in Hyderabad, officials are taking no chances and have implemented additional measures to ensure the safety of attendees and participants.

The Bharat Summit, running from April 25-26, will host prominent Indian leaders, including Congress party member Rahul Gandhi, to discuss political, economic, and international issues. Meanwhile, the Miss World competition, starting on May 7, will attract 140 countries, a significant presence of international media, and thousands of visitors to the region.

Police and intelligence agencies are on high alert, paying special attention to areas near the Hi-Tech City and the old city, where criminal activity is high. Counter-intelligence teams are monitoring suspicious activities, and police patrols and checks will be reinforced, particularly in the old city area.

Starting April 24th, the Cyberabad Commissionerate area will be under intense surveillance. Security personnel will also conduct checks in neighborhoods known to host many foreign visitors.

With strict security measures in place, the events are going ahead as planned, with officials prioritizing the safety of all participants and attendees.
