In a recent joint operation, the Telangana Anti-Narcotics Bureau (TGANB) and the Narsingi Police, Cyberabad, succeeded in busting a major drug ring. Blessing, an ex-drug offender, had been frequently traveling to Hyderabad under aliases such as Joana Gomes and was believed to be a key player in the operation. The information was passed on to the Deputy Commissioner of Police, Rajendra Nagar, Cyberabad, who led the operation. The raid was the result of extensive surveillance and cooperation between various law enforcement agencies in Telangana.

The TGANB, in its efforts to curb drug abuse in Hyderabad and Cyberabad, has been vigilant in checking manifests at Hyderabad Airport and monitoring previous drug offenders and wanted suspects.

Divine Ebuka Suzee, the suspected ringleader, operates a substantial drug syndicate and is believed to have fled the country to Nigeria. He used the arrested individuals, including Adeshola, a Nigerian national, and Varun Kumar, a former car driver, to procure and distribute cocaine across Indian cities. Their modus operandi involved using fake passports and international SIM cards to avoid detection.

Furthermore, 13 consumers have been identified as part of a network promoting drug use in Telangana. Among them is Aman, the brother of actress Rakul Preet Singh, who has faced public scrutiny due to his involvement.

The TGANB continues to investigate this case and ensure the perpetrators are brought to justice.
