To raise awareness and help residents protect themselves, the Cyberabad Police Department in Hyderabad has launched a unique initiative. The initiative includes a comprehensive checklist for individuals and businesses to improve their online protection. Tips such as regular updating of software, using strong passwords, and avoiding suspicious links or unknown websites for transactions are now part of the awareness drive.

Mr. Abhilash commented, "We want to encourage people to act with caution rather than fall prey to innocent mistakes. Our campaign focuses on basic precautions that can go a long way in preventing avoidable cyber fraud."

The drive also includes seminars in schools and colleges and more comprehensive guides and resources for employers and employees, aligned with the ever-increasing complexity of cyber threats.

By proactively tackling this issue, the Cyberabad Police are helping Hyderabad residents stay safer in an increasingly digital world.
