HCSC launches helpline for non-urgent issues

In an effort to promote community policing and report non-emergency safety issues, the Hyderabad City Security Council (HCSC) has introduced a new helpline. This initiative was introduced during a meeting with local jewellers and stakeholders in the city led by the Hyderabad City Police Commissioner and HCSC Chairman, C V Anand.

The helpline offers a direct channel for HCSC members to communicate safety concerns and collaborate on community policing. Vikram Singh Mann, Additional Commissioner of Police, emphasized the active role of HCSC in maintaining safety in the city.

During the event, Prasanth Kumar and P Pushpa also contributed to discussions, and C Shekar Reddy, Secretary General of HCSC, encouraged jewellers to participate in HCSC activities and consider themselves as partners in the organization.

The helpline number is 8712661555.

This move by HCSC underscores the importance of collaboration between the government and local communities to ensure safer living and working environments.
