The Cyberabad Women and Child Safety Wing (W&CSW) has undertaken significant efforts to protect the city's women and children. From July 6-11, they conducted 100 decoy operations, rescuing 238 children, registering 45 minor cases, and conducting over 170 awareness programs. They also reached out to individuals through SHE Teams, the Anti-Human Trafficking Unit (AHTU), and Bharosa Centre. The operations resulted in 67 people being caught and arrested for harassing women in public. The unit received 29 complaints from women and organized 51 awareness programs and four counseling sessions to prevent further crimes. The AHTU rescued 238 children and conducted awareness sessions with 172 participants to prevent human trafficking and related crimes. The Bharosa Centre provided counseling to 22 families dealing with marital disputes. The DCP of the Women & Child Safety Wing reaffirmed their commitment to protecting women and children in the city through vigilant policing, public outreach, and victim services. They encouraged those in need to contact Women's Helpline (181), Child Helpline (1098), Dial 100, or Cyber Crime Helpline (1930). The unit also encouraged everyone to stay updated through their WhatsApp, Telegram, and mobile app notifications.
