A delegation from United Telelinks-Neolyncs Private Limited, the company behind Karbonn mobile phones, led by Chairman Sudhir Kumar Hasija and Neolyncs Chairman Reuven Shaibel, met with Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy at his camp office on Thursday. During the meeting, Hasija outlined the company's plans to invest ₹2,150 crore in the state. This investment will be directed towards the manufacturing of mobile phones, electronic goods such as set-top boxes, telecom products, chargers, IT hardware, and computers. The initiative is expected to create direct employment for 6,000 people and indirectly provide jobs to up to 20,000 individuals.
