In a recent meeting in Nellore, Andhra Pradesh, Minister Ponguru Narayana directed officials to make arrangements for the upcoming Roti festival at the renowned Bara Shaheed Dargah. This festival begins on July 6th, and the Chief Minister of the state, N Chandrababu Naidu, has sanctioned Rs 5 crore for the development of the dargah.

The Minister instructed municipal officials to coordinate with the Joint Collector to ensure that all required arrangements for devotees are completed on time, and expressed dissatisfaction over the delay in painting works at key urban locations. He further directed officials to complete all painting works in the city within 45 days.

Nellore Rural MLA Kotamreddy Sridhar Reddy praised the efforts of Narayan in securing Rs 5 crore for the dargahs development and mentioned that the prayer hall design has been finalized and construction will begin shortly, under the leadership of State Waqf Board Chairman Abdul Aziz. NUDA Chairman Kotamreddy Srinivasulu Reddy assured that the tender process will be completed soon.
