Security precautions being taken ahead of Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy's visit to Nellore have been heightened, with police checking vehicles, monitoring checkpoints, and inspecting lodges.

The former Chief Minister of the state will visit Chemudugunta Helipad at 10 a.m. on Thursday, where he will arrive from Hyderabad. He will then meet with former Minister Kakani Govardhan Reddy in Nellore Central Jail before heading to the hometown of former MLA Prasanna Kumar Reddy in Nellore.

Despite the visit, no permission has been given for public gatherings or rallies. Authorities have put measures in place to avoid traffic disruptions, and only authorized personnel will be allowed to enter the Nellore Central Jail.

Six drones and 40 CCTV cameras will be used as part of the security precautions to ensure the visit proceeds safely. Authorities have warned they will take legal action regarding provocative slogans, banners, or placards.
