Parks for all: MLA protects lands worth Rs 150 crore

Developing 29 parks under the Chandranna Parkula Baata programme will protect land worth Rs 150 crore in Nellore Rural, claims MLA Kotamreddy Sridhar Reddy. He asserts that the government can only develop the parks, but their maintenance is in the hands of locals. With the support of Nellore Rural residents and Chief Minister Nara Chandrababu Naidu, the constituency is seeing advancements never seen before, according to Reddy.

Moreover, the revenue department has reclaimed a 2-acre plot of land in Survey No. 295 in Nellore Rural, worth Rs 15 crore, that belonged to the Ahobilam Peetham but was encroached by a former Member of Parliament. The representative of the Peetham installed a board claiming the ownership of the land on June 19.

Reddy commented that he had directed the Revenue officials to collect the land records, concluding that the plot belonged to Ahobilam Peetham. He emphasized that the Coalition government was dedicated to addressing the problems faced by people, irrespective of their religion or status.
