Drive For Cleaner Delhi Begins, But Not Without Some Shade

For one month, Delhi has been declared open defecation free, but Chief Minister Rekha Gupta has expressed concern that the city's cleanliness problems go far beyond that, prompting the launch of a new drive titled 'Dilli ko kude se azaadi.'

The previous AAP government came under fire from CM Gupta, with specific mention of the 'Sheesh Mahal' reportedly built at a great cost, with no commensurate improvement in government office conditions. This new drive aims to reclaim the city from the debris and dirt that seems to plague it.

The aims of the drive include:

- Cleaning and restoring government offices and improving their maintenance

- Cleaning of public places, parks, and markets

- Amplifying the mission of 'No Trash Left Behind'

CM Gupta concluded the launch with a call to all Delhi residents, urging them to join the drive with responsibility and spirit, to work together to reclaim their city.
