Manchester United and Newcastle United are reportedly among the frontrunners to sign Red Bull Leipzig striker Benjamin Sesko, with the likes of Atletico Madrid, Barcelona, and Liverpool also interested in the player.

The Slovenian forward has made a name for himself in the Europa League this season, scoring 10 goals in eight games, including back-to-back hat tricks against Greek side Olympiacos and Dutch club PSV Eindhoven.

This sparked a race for his signature, with the 22-year-old's agent confirming that there is significant interest from Spain, England, and Germany.

"There are currently three big clubs interested in Benji from Spain, England, and Germany," his agent, Gregory Training, told Slovenian news outlet Ekipa.

"I can't reveal more due to confidentiality clauses, but there is a big battle for him, and there is a good chance that he will leave Germany in the summer."

Sesko's contract with Leipzig, which sits atop the Bundesliga table, is set to expire in June 2025.
