Poland Makes Mass Arrests After Illegal Drug Lab Uncovered

Central and Eastern Polish police departments have made a series of mass arrests after uncovering an illegal drug lab, allegedly producing over 1.5 tons of the synthetic stimulant klfedrone. The police have detained 22 suspects, and seized ammunition and nearly 40,000 in cash. The operation was conducted by multiple counter-terror units from Warsaw, odz, Lublin, and other regional police departments in central and eastern Poland.

The investigation started in March when police found the illegal lab and seized equipment and chemicals necessary to produce synthetic drugs. They arrested three individuals at the time and launched an investigation to identify accomplices and the full scope of the criminal network.

According to the Warsaw Metropolitan Police Headquarters, the network produced nearly 1.5 tons of klfedrone. Police also seized 170,000 zoty (around 39,878) in cash and ammunition. Twenty-two suspects have been remanded in custody for three months, while two others remain under judicial supervision.

This series of arrests reflects the growing concern about illegal drug activities in Poland and will hopefully lead to a safer community.
