Boy Student Blackmailed, Forced To Give Cash & Gold Worth Lakhs

Being a student in Class 10 is challenging enough, but one boy in Lucknow faced senior students who extorted him out of desperation - for a total of Rs 1.9 lakh in cash and gold jewellery.

The incident, which took place in a school in Lucknow, saw a Class 10 student blackmailed by Class 12 students who filmed him and extorted Rs 1.4 lakh in cash and gold jewellery worth Rs 4.5 lakh from him. The boy was asked to bring more students from his class to the senior students' room, where a cake and a soft drink were laid out, and birthday celebrations were in order.

However, the event turned into a nightmare when the Class 12 students blackmailed the younger boys, making each of them take turns kissing the birthday boy, stripping, and performing lewd acts against their will. All the while, the seniors filmed the proceedings on their phones, threatening to leak the videos if the younger students did not give in to their demands.

The extorted money and gold jewellery, valued at Rs 1.9 lakh total, was given to the 12th graders by the younger students from their homes over the next few days. Each of the blackmailed students suffered trauma and were too afraid to report the matter to their parents or authorities at the school.

It was only when the victims confided in a trusted teacher outside the school, who convinced them to reveal the perpetrators' identities that action was taken. The matter is now with the police, who will take appropriate action.

Sadly, this is not the first time such an incident has taken place, and teenagers are easy targets for bullying and blackmail. This highlights the urgent need for both students and teachers to report such crimes when they happen, ensuring justice for all victims.
