Stocking up on petrol and diesel for the week? Here's what you should know about the fresh prices announced today (10 September) in your city, including Delhi, Mumbai, Chennai, Bengaluru, Hyderabad, and Kolkata.

This morning, oil manufacturing companies (OMCs) updated the petrol and diesel prices across India at 6 am. This was the first revision in almost a week, as the previous update was on 29 September.

The petrol and diesel price in Mumbai is now 90.75 INR and 80.27 INR respectively. In Kolkata, the petrol rate is 89.91 INR while the diesel rate is 81.07 INR. In Delhi, the petrol price is 89.87 INR and diesel is 81.03 INR.

Among the metro cities, Chennai has the cheapest fuel rates, with a litre of petrol costing 88.29 INR and diesel 71.26 INR.

These prices are effective from 6 am this morning and will be valid until 5:59 am on 11 September. It is important to remember that fuel prices differ from one city to another due to a variety of factors, including state taxes and transportation costs.

Ensure you take advantage of these prices while they last, especially if you need to refill your vehicle's tank this week.
