Over the last fifty-two years, Vidyaa Vikas Educational Institutions has nurtured numerous distinguished men and women who have brought honor to the institution, both in India and abroad.

Founded in Tiruchengode in 1998, Vidyaa Vikas Educational Institutions has come a long way since its inception. The institution, originally established as Vidyaa Vikas during the birth of a new nation in 1947, began its journey in a pivotal moment in India's history. During this time, Vidyaa Vikas Educational Institutions actively contributed to the growth of the nation's capital, particularly in the academic field, rather than merely observing the trials and challenges faced by the burgeoning metropolis.

Until 1998, Vidyaa Vikas Educational Institutions operated as the sole VVEI. However, the institution was ready to expand its reach, maintaining its unwavering commitment to achievement and excellence.

The Society's involvement in universal educational advancement and its mission to build a democratic, pluralistic, and secular nation has made a significant impact. Vidyaa Vikas Educational Institutions is affiliated with CBSE under affiliation No. 1930388 and is recognized by the Directorate of Education, Government of New Delhi, with School Code TN 46080.

Criteria for Promotion (VI to VIII) for the Session 2012-2013

Promotion will be determined based on a student's overall performance throughout the year under the Continuous Comprehensive Evaluation (C.C.E.) system. C.C.E. assesses all aspects of a student's development, providing a holistic profile through regular evaluation of both scholastic and co-scholastic areas.

Scholastic areas include formative and summative assessments, with each term comprising two formative and one summative assessment.

Co-scholastic activities encompass literary, aesthetic, and performing skills, as well as club activities. Health and physical education are also integral to this assessment, evaluated and graded based on life skills, attitudes, and values.

The academic session is divided into two terms: the first from April 2012 to September 2012, and the second from October 2012 to March 2013.

Operational Modalities 

Student performance in English, Hindi, Mathematics, Science, Social Science, Computer Science, and a third language will be assessed using numerical marking, with grades assigned for each assessment.
