In a significant development for the global semiconductor industry, Blue Cloud Softech Solutions Limited (BCSSL) has secured a USD 150 million agreement with an Israeli semiconductor design powerhouse. This partnership aims to co-develop cutting-edge AI chips in India, marking a strategic alliance between two technology leaders.

The deal encompasses a comprehensive technology ownership transfer (ToT) over five years, where the Israeli partner will contribute their expertise in edge computing architectures and AI accelerator designs. They will provide the foundational hardware architecture and reference design, while BCSSL, headquartered in Hyderabad, takes the reins of software development. This includes creating system firmware, AI middleware, and application frameworks, enabling the design of advanced semiconductor systems tailored for AIoT and industrial automation.
