At the heart of this strategy is the establishment of a dedicated task force under the Multi-Agency Centre (MAC) mechanism. The establishment of the National Integrated Database on Arrested Narco-Offenders (NIDAAN) is another significant development. This centralized database, developed by the NCB, integrates data on NDPS offenders, providing a comprehensive resource for law enforcement agencies to track and combat drug-related crimes effectively.

With these initiatives, India is taking a proactive stance against the dark net drug trade, leveraging inter-agency collaboration and technological solutions.
