The Telangana State Data Centre (TSDC) provides a unified infrastructure for various State Government departments to host their services and applications, facilitating integration and efficient management. This ensures optimal use of computing resources and the supporting connectivity infrastructure (SWAN/NICNET).

Equipped with cutting-edge cloud and hyper-converged technology, the State Data Centre supports computational, networking, and storage resources, as well as web and mobile applications for all e-Governance initiatives. During the COVID-19 pandemic, the SDC infrastructure ensured uninterrupted service delivery to both citizens and government departments.

Data centre hardening is a strategy aimed at enhancing the security of G2C and G2G Critical Information Infrastructure (CII) by implementing various security controls to guard against potential cybersecurity threats.

Web Application Firewall (WAF) Solution

The WAF protects web applications by filtering and monitoring HTTP traffic between the application and the internet. It safeguards against various attacks, including cross-site request forgery, cross-site scripting (XSS), file inclusion, and SQL injection.

Advanced IPS Solution 

This solution proactively detects and blocks targeted attacks. It defends the network through real-time, inline enforcement and automated remediation of vulnerable systems, utilizing AI and ML techniques to make instant and accurate decisions to block malicious traffic.

Anti-DDoS Solution

This solution offers automated protection against DDoS attacks, efficiently handling fast-moving, high-volume, encrypted, or brief threats. It defends against various forms of cyberattacks, including IoT-based bursts, DNS and TLS/SSL attacks, ensuring the SDC's security against emerging multi-vector threats, ransom DDoS campaigns, IoT botnets, phantom floods, and more.
