T-Hub: Empowering India's Innovation Ecosystem
In 2022, T-Hub celebrated seven successful years dedicated to strengthening India’s innovation ecosystem. Over these years, T-Hub has focused on creating a cohesive environment that fosters entrepreneurship and innovation. It has designed and delivered more than 100 innovation programs, helping 2,000 startups scale both nationally and globally while connecting them with influential stakeholders in the ecosystem.
T-Hub’s corporate innovation initiatives have successfully executed over 50 scaling interventions, approximately 150 corporate interactions with startups, and 60 corporate innovation programs, curating innovative startups across 50 countries. The organization maintains partnerships with over 600 national and international corporates and has facilitated 2,000 mentor connections.
In addition to supporting startups, T-Hub has collaborated with academic institutions to integrate innovation and entrepreneurial approaches into their curricula. The new leadership aims to develop strategic programs that drive innovation for outcome-driven results and support other ecosystem enablers—such as TSIC, T-Works, WE Hub, RICH, and TASK—by sharing knowledge and resources.
T-Hub 2.0
T-Hub has launched its new innovation campus, T-Hub 2.0, which is the largest technology incubator in the world, spanning 582,689 sq. ft. The facility is designed as a microcosm of the innovation ecosystem, housing startups, corporates, investors, and academia, along with national and international ecosystem enablers. The campus features an effective carpet area of 350,000 sq. ft, accommodating operations across six floors (Ground + 5) with 1,000 seats for startups.
The sixth floor is dedicated to the Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) and the AIC T-Hub Foundation, a partnership with the Atal Innovation Mission (AIM) under NITI Aayog. The seventh floor will house the Department of Science and Technology’s (DST) Centre of Excellence, focused on promoting artificial intelligence (AI) and machine learning (ML). The eighth and ninth floors are planned for the Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA) project, supporting social impact startups and young entrepreneurs (Y-Hub).
T-Hub aims to impact at least 20,000 startups through various program interventions over the next five years. The new phase will emphasize internationalization and capacity building, with partnerships established with countries like Bangladesh and Uzbekistan. The facility will also feature international partners from Japan, Korea, Dubai, and other regions.
T-Hub is committed to empowering the startup ecosystem and supporting entrepreneurs by providing access to the 6Ms: Mentors, Market, Motivation, Manpower, Money, and Methodologies, as well as 2Ps: Partnership and Policy advisory.
