Telangana Academy for Skill and Knowledge (TASK)

TASK is a not-for-profit organization focused on enhancing youth employability and reducing the unemployment rate in Telangana. It employs a three-pronged approach:

- Skilling youth in industry-demand technologies

- Building essential 21st-century workplace skills

- Developing an entrepreneurial mindset among youth

Initiatives

- Established a TASK Regional Centre at Sircilla.

- Conducted programs in areas such as AI, ML, Data Science, and Blockchain in collaboration with industry partners like IBM, ExcelR, Microsoft, and NASSCOM Future Skills.

- Organized webinars on various industry segments, including IT/ITeS, Hospitality, and Logistics, to familiarize students with Industry 4.0 skills.

- Partnered with several universities to enhance student skills and employability.

- Collaborated with Hindustan Coca-Cola Beverages (HCCB) to skill 10,000 unemployed youth.

- Joined forces with Cotelligent to provide training and placement for 500 youth in Cyber Security.

- Launched the She Arise 2.0 program in collaboration with Centum Foundation for female students.

- Formed new partnerships with organizations such as Mentor Together, C-MET, and AWS for upskilling and training support.

- Google Cloud: Trained 32 faculty members and 1,415 students on Cloud Foundations in 2021-22.

- IBM Open PTech: Offers courses in Data Science, AI, Cloud Computing, Cyber Security, and more.

- Salesforce: Connects job seekers with opportunities in the Salesforce ecosystem through various resources.

- Kalyani Rafael Advanced Systems Pvt. Ltd.: Provides training in advanced optical engineering for students.

- CISCO: Offers training in IT essentials and Cyber Security.

- Infosys: Provides campus certification and training for students and faculty.

- Mahindra Pride Classroom: Focuses on employability skills for final-year students.

- Safran Electrical & Power India (P) Ltd.: Conducts hiring and training for various positions.

- ARM University: Supplies teaching materials for engineering faculties.

- Google Kotlin: Provides Android Development courses for faculty.

- ISRO NRSC: Offers industry visits to TASK-registered colleges.

- Nagarro: Trains faculty on Blockchain concepts.

- Clusters AI: Conducts online workshops for data annotations.

- HERE Technologies: Provides certification in maps and location technology.

- Oracle Academy: Conducted faculty development programs and certified students in Java and Database courses.

- Unschool: Offers discounted placements and courses.

- Internshala: Provides internships and faculty training.

- Amazon Web Services: Offers training in cloud technologies.

- Smart Bridge: Conducts skill initiatives in emerging technologies.

- CSS Corp: Provides internships and placement services.

- Yes Mentor: Hosts Mentor Talks on career development.

- VLSI: Conducted awareness sessions on VLSI technologies.

Central Government Collaborations  

- Trained 5,370 students and placed 2,360 in the Electronics and Telecom sector under the ESDM Scheme.

- Reskilled 1,826 frontline health workers under the National Health Mission in partnership with Telangana Vaidya Vidhan Parishad.
