In a significant initiative to attract global investment, Telangana Chief Minister Revanth Reddy captivated top CEOs at a roundtable hosted by the Consulate General of India in New York. The event, attended by over 20 industry leaders from sectors like pharma, IT, technology, and biotech, underscored Telangana's strategic importance in global supply chains, particularly as a key player in the "China Plus One" strategy for American corporations.

Highlighting Telangana's rapid rise as an industrial powerhouse, CM Revanth Reddy emphasized the state's success in software, life sciences, and vaccine production, noting its vital role in the global fight against COVID-19. He pitched Telangana as the ideal destination for future investments, offering a perfect blend of infrastructure, talent, and business-friendly policies.

One of the key initiatives discussed was Telangana’s ambitious "Future City" project, envisioned as India's first Net Zero Carbon city. Positioned as a hub for AI, medical tourism, and emerging industries, Future City reflects Telangana’s forward-thinking approach to sustainable development and global competitiveness. The Chief Minister also outlined the state’s new industrial policy, which aims to streamline business operations and create a more conducive environment for both new ventures and existing businesses.

IT Minister D. Sridhar Babu provided an in-depth overview of Hyderabad's strengths and the policies driving its development, positioning it as a strong alternative to China for manufacturing and innovation. He also highlighted the long-term vision of making Hyderabad one of the world’s top 10 cities.

Industry leaders praised Telangana's potential and discussed plans for future investments, with several major announcements expected soon, marking a promising future for the state's industrial landscape.
