Weighing machine records the normal reaction acting on it

  From free body diagram of 50 kg block

 


N= mblock × g  = 50× 10 500N

Hencethe reading of weighing machine (1) will be 500N


(50 5 + 60) ×10= 1150N

  N2= 1150N

  Hencethe reading of weighing machine (2) will be 1150N
