Safety on the roads is paramount for women, especially when travelling alone. In a bid to enhance safety for women and make travel more accessible to them, the Nellore district administration and APSRTC are set to introduce CCTV surveillance and body-worn cameras for conductors from Friday, August 15. The decision, which coincides with the commencement of the Stree Shakti scheme, is expected to help prevent any incidents and ensure smooth RTC operations in the region.
