Bollywood actress Mamta Kulkarni has returned to Mumbai after 25 years in the limelight due to the 2,000 crore drug case. In an exclusive interview with CNN-News18, she speaks out about the allegations against her.

Mamta denies any involvement in Vicky Goswami's illegal activities, claiming that she was unaware of his dealings or meetings in Kenya. Although she admits to knowing Vicky and traveling to Kenya to meet him in 2015, she insists that she has nothing to do with his business. Mamta proudly states that the police put her name in the drugs case, but the court has now given her a clean chit.

In 2015, Thane police linked her to supplying ephedrine for the illegal production of methamphetamine, connected to an international drug racket and gangster. Goswami and Kulkarni, along with other accused, attended a meeting related to the drug ring in Kenya in January 2016. The Bombay High Court later quashed the FIR against her and cleared her of all charges.
