The police in Bokaro are intensifying their efforts to trace a missing government hospital staff member who disappeared four days ago, and have deployed sniffer dogs and drones in their search.
The technician, Santosh Kumar, 54, was last seen leaving his residence in Chas for his workplace on August 27. His motorcycle was found abandoned in Sector 11, and CCTV footage from a nearby petrol pump showed him riding with a woman aboard.
Local authorities have been investigating the case, but have yet to uncover any solid leads as to his whereabouts. Police recently employed a sniffer dog in their search, but the animal lost the scent near a jungle area. Consequently, the police have expanded their search efforts aboard drones and in dense forest areas around Sector 11.
Kumar's family, understandably anxious over his disappearance, has appealed to the police to locate the technician. Commenting on the case, SP Bokaro Harvinder Singh assured everyone that "all possible angles are under investigation, and [they] assured that the mystery will soon be resolved."
Let's keep our fingers crossed.
