IIT Delhi Launches Executive Program in Robotics to Fuel Industry Growth

Recognizing the burgeoning global robotics market, projected to reach $169.8 billion by 2032, IIT Delhi has introduced an Executive Program in Robotics. This initiative aims to equip professionals with the advanced skills necessary to navigate the evolving landscape of automation and robotics.

The program, designed to cater to professionals from various sectors, offers a comprehensive curriculum covering foundational principles, advanced applications, and practical experience in areas such as robotics design, programming, and utilizing cutting-edge technologies like ROS.

Professor Arnab Chanda, Associate Professor at IIT Delhi, emphasized the program's significance, stating that robotics is no longer a futuristic concept but a driving force in modern industries. He highlighted the program's objective to nurture a new generation of leaders who can drive innovation and sustainable growth in the robotics sector.

The curriculum comprises six core modules covering fundamental concepts, sensing and perception, actuators and motion, AI and machine learning, embedded control, and future applications. Participants will engage in hands-on projects using industry-relevant tools like CAD software and 3D printers, fostering real-world skill development.

Delivered in a convenient D2D format, the program includes live interactive sessions, tutorials, and a one-day campus immersion at IIT Delhi, providing participants with valuable insights into the institution's academic and research excellence.
