Say No To Drugs campaign was launched by S Supongmeren Jamir, MP Lok Sabha and President of Nagaland Pradesh Congress Committee (NPCC). The initiative aims to spread awareness about drug abuse among children and youth through creative activities.
Drug abuse is a pervasive problem that severely impacts youth, damaging both physical and mental health, draining the economy, and burdening societies with socially challenging repercussions. Khriedi Theunuo, working president of NPCC, stressed that the solution lies not in blame games but in collective efforts to contain and minimize the drug problem.
Jamir emphasized that society will only be as productive and progressive as its young generation is active and engaged. The movement is to educate children about the country, the values enshrined in the constitution, and the importance of life itself, said K Naresh Kumar, national co-ordinator and chief In-charge of the mission.
The fight against drugs must be collective, consistent, and sustained to safeguard the younger generation from this destructive malady, said state chief co-ordinator of JBM, NPCC, Kaqheto Kughutu.
